Steam Pen Screen Annotation Guide

Basic Operations

Dragging:

Click and hold to drag the interface, allowing free positioning on the screen.

Activate Brush:

Enable drawing mode for screen annotation and freehand sketching.

Deactivate Brush:

Exit drawing mode and restore standard mouse functionality.

Minimize Steam Pen:

Collapse the interface to compact mode for minimal screen space usage.

Expand Steam Pen:

Restore the complete feature set in full interface view.

Drawing Tools

Solid Pen:

Draw opaque solid lines with precise control.

Text Input:

Add resizable text boxes to any screen position.

Highlighter:

Create semi - transparent lines for emphasis effects.

Shape Tools

Number Tags:

Add numeric markers (1 - 5) at cursor positions.

Rectangle Tool:

Draw customizable rectangles or squares.

Arrow Tool:

Auto - Clear Timer

Disable Timer:

Turn off automatic annotation clearing.

1 - Second Clear:

Annotations auto - remove after 1 second.

3 - Second Clear:

Annotations auto - remove after 3 seconds.

5 - Second Clear:

Annotations auto - remove after 5 seconds.

10 - Second Clear:

Annotations auto - remove after 10 seconds.

30 - Second Clear:

Annotations auto - remove after 30 seconds.

Display Cycle

Stop Cycle:

Disable content cycling feature.

2 - Second Cycle:

Cycle annotations every 2 seconds.

5 - Second Cycle:

Cycle annotations every 5 seconds.

10 - Second Cycle:

Cycle annotations every 10 seconds.

Editing Tools

Partial Erase:

Selectively remove specific annotations.

Undo:

Revert the last action performed.

Redo:

Restore previously undone actions.

Clear All:

Remove all annotations from the screen.

Canvas Modes

Whiteboard Mode:

Use white background for annotations.

Blackboard Mode:

Use black background for annotations.

Transparent Mode:

Annotate directly over screen content.
